What does Aid For Change do?

Aid For Change is an initiative of an International aid organization which has been working with poor and marginalised people in India since 1960. We work in 3 states and in the year 2013 we reached out to over 248107  poor in India.

We partner with local NGOs, community based organizations and people's movements to collectively address poverty, inequality and injustice.

Our focus is on the rights of India’s most marginalized communities: Dalit and indigenous people, rural poor, women and minorities. These groups face an acute lack of access to and control over resources, services, and institutions.

We pay special attention to those in vulnerable situations such as people living with chronic hunger, survivors of domestic violence, farmers with small land holdings and people whose land or livelihood is under threat.

How does Aid For Change use donations?

  • Aid For Change finances a wide range of long term and short term projects working with marginalized communities such Dalit and indigenous people, rural poor, survivors of domestic violence, small farmers and minorities.
